A businessman at heart, Jean Didier Lorence, Interior Designer – also New York’s Sotheby’s International Realty consultant – creates his first concept store specialized in antiques at age 25 in France. Shortly thereafter, in 1996, he books a one-way ticket to New York, playground of unlimited expression in the field of Design which quickly becomes his adopted city and the place where he continues to build his life and professional projects. An aesthete who is passionate about antiques in general, and more particularly about the 18th century, Didier combines this passion to his in-depth knowledge of art, architecture and decoration through his interior design.

Maison Lorence Interior Design was founded in 1996 around a team of multidisciplinary professionals who put their skills to work to ensure the success of their projects. Thus, architects, engineers, designers, decorators, graphic artists and stylists work together with the support of a network of specialised craftsmen with excellent know-how in all trades.
